How to make it

  1. If the chicken breasts are thick, slice them horizontally or pound them to an even thickness of about 2 cm so they cook through evenly, then season with salt and pepper.
  2. Soak the chicken in the milk for at least 15 minutes, then dredge each piece thoroughly in the seasoned flour, pressing so the coating adheres well.
