How to make it
- Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a wide bowl.
- Add the lime juice and minced garlic, then mash the avocado with a fork to your preferred texture, leaving it slightly chunky.
- Fold in the diced red onion, seeded tomato, and chopped cilantro until evenly distributed.
- Season with salt to taste and stir gently, adjusting the lime juice if you want more brightness.
- Press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to limit browning, then let it rest for 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
