Slow Cooker Pork Chops

How to make it
- Pat the pork chops dry and rub them all over with a mix of the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chops for about 2 minutes per side until well browned, then transfer them to the slow cooker.
- Slice the onion and scatter it with the dried apple rings over and around the chops in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, stir together the apple cider vinegar, white wine, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves, then pour the mixture over the pork.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, until the pork is fork-tender and an instant-read thermometer reads at least 63 C (145 F).
- Transfer the chops to a platter and let them rest for 5 minutes while you spoon the apples and onions over the top.
- If you want a thicker sauce, pour the cooking liquid into a pan and simmer for a few minutes to reduce before spooning it over the chops.
