How to make it

  1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into even 2 cm cubes so they cook at the same rate.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, then add the sweet potato cubes in a single layer.
  3. Saute the cubes, turning occasionally, for about 10 to 12 minutes until they are golden on the edges and a knife slides in easily.
  4. Lower the heat to medium, add the butter and let it melt and foam around the potatoes.
  5. Drizzle in the honey and sprinkle over the smoked paprika and salt, then toss to coat every piece in the glaze.
  6. Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring gently, until the honey caramelizes and clings to the potatoes, then serve warm.
