How to make it

  1. Wash all the vegetables thoroughly, then core the tomatoes and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Peel the cucumber if the skin is thick, halve it lengthwise, and slice into thin half-moons.
  3. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds and ribs, and slice the flesh into thin strips.
  4. Peel the red onion and slice it thinly, then peel and coarsely grate the carrot.
  5. Combine all the prepared vegetables in a large salad bowl and toss gently to distribute them evenly.
