How to make it
- Dice the onion and both bell peppers and mince the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and cook the onion and peppers for 6 to 8 minutes until softened.
- Add the garlic, chili powder, cumin and smoked paprika and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another minute, then add the crushed tomatoes and the vegetable broth.
- Drain and rinse the kidney beans and black beans, then stir them into the pot and bring everything to a gentle boil.
